Prepare for Your New Debit & Credit Card

We're excited to announce an upgrade to our card program!  As part of our ongoing commitment to improving your member experience, we're switching to a new credit and debit card provider - bringing you enhanced features and card security.

What is new?

• Tap-to-pay. Enjoy the safety and speed of contactless payments anywhere you see the contactless symbol. 
• Truly Rewards. We will Start offering points March 16th on your signature debit card purchases*. Those points will combine with the points you earn on your credit purchases, so your points will grow faster! 
  
  Don’t worry, if you haven’t used your existing earned points with our current credit card, these will carry over to your new Truly Rewards program.
• Digital Issuance. Peace of mind knowing that if you lose your debit or credit card while traveling, you can be issued a replacement card through the NEW kstateCU Card Connect app to your mobile wallet.
• Visa Exclusive. This move from Mastercard to Visa for the debit cards will allow us to offer you enhanced security, faster transaction processing, and greater worldwide acceptance.
• Travel Notes. With the NEW kstateCU Card Connect, you will be able to put in your own travel notes 24/7.

What features will continue?

• Mobile Wallet. Add your debit and credit card to Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Wallet for seamless, secure payments—no need to pull out your card!
• Fraud Protection. 24/7 security monitoring and protection from potential threats
• Instant Issue. Need a replacement or a new card? No waiting—stop by a branch and get one on the spot.

HOW TO PREPARE

Watch For Your New Cards

• Cards will arrive in a plain, white envelope in the first couple of weeks of March, keep an eye out!
• Have a new address, email address or phone number? Log into your kState CU mobile app or your online banking to verify and update your personal information or let us know ASAP to avoid delays!
• Activate, start using, and earning Truly Rewards points on your New DEBIT card on March 16, 2026.
• Your current debit card will work through March 15, 2026. Your current card will no longer work after March 16, 2026.
• Activate, start using, and earning Truly Rewards points on your New CREDIT card on March 23, 2026.
• Your current credit card will work through March 22, 2026. Your current card will no longer work after March 23, 2026.

New Card = New Number

• Your new debit & credit card is coming with a new card number! If you use your debit card for recurring payments (internet, insurance, phone, gym, etc.), be sure to update your card details with the vendor or business to avoid service interruptions.
• We recommend to review your 3 most recent statements, as some bills may come quarterly. You can view these statements in online banking and the mobile app. Either in the Account Details. Click HERE to find out where to get your estatements.
• Spring Break Plans? Since our card conversions are happening mid-March, please be mindful of your payment methods when reserving travel accommodations (i.e, flights, hotels, rental cars, etc). You may need to have your current and new cards when traveling.
