Remote Deposit Capture


Save time and a trip to the Credit Union. This feature on our mobile app allows you to deposit checks with your mobile device by taking a picture of your endorsed check.   

Easy to Use

  1. Open kstate CREDIT UNION mobile app
  2. Select the Remote Deposit from the menu
  3. Login with your Remote Deposit username and password
  4. Choose your account and enter the deposit amount
  5. Take a photo of the front of your check (make sure you allow the app access to your camera)
  6. On the back of your check write 'FOR MOBILE DEPOSIT ONLY, kstate CREDIT UNION' and indorse your check, then take a photo of the back of your check
  7. Receive confirmation of your deposit

First Time Using Remote Deposit 
When using for the first time you will need to set up an account and be approved. You will be notified of approval via an email from kstate CREDIT UNION. The steps to get this started are as follows

STEPS FOR iPHONE

  1. In the kstate CREDIT UNION mobile app, select REMOTE DEPOSIT
  2. Select the SIGN UP option
  3. Enter new login credentials: First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone Number, Password, Verify Password and Username
  4. Select CONTINUE, your information will be submitted to us and verified

STEPS FOR ANDROID PHONE

  1. In the kstate CREDIT UNION mobile app, select REMOTE DEPOSIT
  2. Select the REGISTER option.
  3. Enter Desired Username, Password, Confirm Password, First Name, Last Name, Phone Number & Email
  4. Select CONTINUE
  5. Select an account Username and add one of your CU accounts, then select CREATE USER
  6. You will see a confirmation screen and your information will be submitted to us and verified.

Once you are approved, you will receive two emails: one stating that you are approved and another will include disclosures about Remote Deposit and a user agreement.

Please allow 24-48 hours to receive approval. In the rare occasion that a member is not approved, the credit union will send a notification.

Other important Remote Deposit information
• Funds Availability: A potential hold of up to 7 business days may apply.
• Only checks made payable to account holders are eligible for deposit.
• Deposits will only be processed for accounts Mon-Fri at 11am & 3pm.

Forgot Username or Password?
The Remote Deposit feature on our mobile app has its own username retrieval and password reset.
Simply click on the Remote Deposit Menu item in our mobile app, then select the orange button matching the action that you need to complete.

  • For username retrieval you will need to give your email address and then your username will be sent from no-reply@metova.com.If the email is not in your inbox, you may need to look in your spam or junk mail.
  • For a password reset, you will need to give your username and then select reset password. An email will be sent from no-reply@metova.com with an link to a password reset form. Enter a new password in this form and click SUBMIT. If the email is not in your inbox, you may need to look in your spam or junk mail.
